Data and purposes

• Technical access: hosting may process IP address, time, requested URL and browser/connection details for delivery, troubleshooting and security. The platform provider may use necessary security cookies. Verumo adds no advertising or analytics scripts.
• Enquiries: name, email, message and optional details such as phone and company are used to respond and prepare a possible engagement. Before manual sending, entries remain in the open browser. Sending transfers them to Verumo and the email providers involved.

Recipients and providers

Verumo handles received enquiries. OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare provides the website; those providers support its technical operation. Verumo’s email domain uses Hostpoint mail servers. Maps, official services, webmail and the FTA calculator are accessed only when their links are opened and have their own privacy notices.

International processing

OpenAI and Cloudflare’s general provider notices also describe processing in the United States, the EU/EEA and international access. For covered transfers, Cloudflare cites safeguards including the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses; OpenAI cites adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses. These are provider statements, not confirmation of a particular Verumo contract or hosting configuration. Exclusive Swiss storage of the website is not promised. Hostpoint states that mailbox data is stored in Switzerland; transmission via your own provider may involve other countries.

Language, intro and checklists

The language choice (verumo.language.v1) remains in local browser storage until changed or deleted. Intro status and checklists on guidance pages use session storage for the browser session. The three download checklists keep ticks only in the open page and reset on reload. These contents are not sent to Verumo.

Retention

Local storage follows the periods above. Received enquiries are handled according to purpose and applicable legal retention duties. Technical platform data follows provider periods that depend on purpose and contract; no universal number of days is asserted here. Ask info@verumo.ch about the handling of your specific enquiry.

Your rights and contact

You may request access and correction, and ask for deletion or restriction subject to legal duties or overriding grounds. Contact info@verumo.ch. If you suspect a data protection violation, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Client engagement records

This website is not a client portal. The scope, access, transfer method and retention for accounting, payroll, tax or property records are agreed separately in the engagement. Send confidential records only after agreeing an appropriate transfer method.

External tax calculator

The tax hub links to the official FTA calculator. A connection to swisstaxcalculator.estv.admin.ch is made only when you open that link. The privacy information of the provider and its services then applies. Calculator entries are made directly there; Verumo does not read or store them. Verumo’s canton and topic filters do not transmit financial data.
